2008年中欧之旅 Central Europe, 2008
We spent some holiday times in Austria (Vienna and Salzburg) and Czech (Prague) from 29th June to 8th July, 2008. Slovakia was not in our original plan. After we booked our Ryanair flights, we found that our first destination airport was not in Vienna at all. Instead, it’s in another city of another country! – Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia. Though they separate each other by only 60 km with convenient train or coach connection, we still decided to stay one night in Bratislava to have a bit touch feeling of the city and the country. Apart from the journeys departing from and returning to England, we took all other journals by train. One of the train journeys, from Prague to Salzburg via Linz, was a bit long (about 7 hours) with two changes. However, you definitely find it worthwhile when you sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenes along the whole route.
In this digital era, taking of thousands of photos from such a trip is not a big surprise. We have put a few of them into five albums (Bratislava, Vienna, Prague, Salzburg, Train Journey from Prague to Salzburg). You’re welcome to have a view when you are free.
